I have heard this over and over again, so I created this site to help answer the most common questions and get you started on the path to that kitchen you've always wanted. In the blog archive you will see lots of before and after photo sets of remodels that I designed. The video bar has a number of short videos where I answer the most common questions that I'm asked. New Home with a basic kitchen (before & after)

This house was only six years old when the owners came to me but the "builder grade" kitchen was already showing some pretty serious signs of wear. The owners wanted to "upgrade" the appliances and cabinets and incorporate a little used covered porch into the kitchen area.

How to use this site.

The site is a "virtual show room".

The "Blog Archive" on the left is filled with picture sets. Each set shows a series of before and afters of projects that I designed and completed. Click on a title and the pictures appear in the center of the screen. Click on any picture to enlarge it.

The "Video Bar" is a series of videos of me answering the most common questions I'm asked.

Who is the Louisville Kitchen Guy?

My name is Doug Daum and I am the Louisville Kitchen Guy. When my degree in Engineering from West Point is combined with the eight years I spent on the road as a Stand-up Comedian, most people surmise two things. One, I can use both sides of my brain, and two, my parents can't decide if they are proud or disappointed. Luckily, I have been able to find a career that allows me to use both my logical and artistic sides. For over a decade now, my passion has been designing beautiful and functional luxury kitchens.
